Catholic Social Media Expands Its Offerings With Trusted Content From Carmel Communications

Catholic Social Media (CSM) is expanding its content offerings through a new partnership with Carmel Communications, giving dioceses and parishes a deeper selection of trusted, faith-centered media to support their digital evangelization efforts. After a successful pilot program this summer and autumn, CSM is now making Carmel’s content available to all diocesan users and their parishes.

For more than two decades, Carmel Communications has played a leading role in media by promoting books, films, art, and cultural works that invite audiences into a deeper encounter with the Catholic Church. The agency collaborates with authors, filmmakers, publishers, apostolates, and dioceses to bring Catholic storytelling into the national conversation. Their team has worked on major projects such as Father Stu, Unplanned, and the History Channel’s Jesus: His Life. Carmel brings a portfolio of bishop-endorsed initiatives from across the U.S., giving ministry leaders confidence that every resource is theologically sound and spiritually edifying.

“At Catholic Social Media, we’re always looking for ways to grow and evolve so we can better serve dioceses and their parishes,” said Deacon John Rogers, Director of Catholic Social Media. “Carmel Communications brings a depth of experience and a commitment to the Faith that aligns perfectly with our mission to support the Church’s communication efforts.”

According to Lisa Wheeler, president of Carmel Communications, “This collaboration with Catholic Social Media is exciting because it expands the Church’s capacity to speak into culture with both fidelity and excellence. We want Catholics to be in the world but not of it—bringing the light of Christ into the places where people actually live, scroll, and search. By integrating Carmel’s theologically sound, bishop-supported content into CSM’s platform, we’re helping dioceses evangelize more effectively and engage their people with a richer, more compelling Catholic imagination.”

With this partnership in place, CSM users can now access Carmel’s content featuring Catholic authors, artists, saints, and cultural works that speak to the heart of the faith. From new film releases to feast day posts to standout saint quotes, the collection offers fresh material to strengthen online engagement and broaden followers’ understanding of what it means to be Catholic who is in the world but not of it.

With this addition, CSM strengthens its live feed of ready-to-share resources, each created to help dioceses, parishes, and ministries communicate the Gospel with clarity, creativity, and a spirit of authentic Catholic beauty.

Already a CSM diocesan user? What this means for you:

This partnership gives your diocese immediate access to a broader range of trusted Catholic content without adding extra work for your team. Carmel Communications’ posts now appear directly inside the CSM platform in the “Suggested” dropdown, allowing you to quickly review and approve pieces for immediate release to your parishes, schools, and ministries:

  • A wider selection of ready-to-use graphics and reflections rooted in the teachings of the Church.

  • Content backed by endorsements from bishops across the United States, ensuring theological clarity and pastoral credibility.

  • Fresh, relevant material tied to books, films, saints, and cultural moments, helping you engage your community more meaningfully.

  • More variety and depth in your communication toolkit, whether you are highlighting feast days, offering spiritual reflections, or promoting new Catholic media.

Carmel Communications content is now available to all CSM diocesan users. Log in to explore the newest additions to your feed and delight your parishes.
